VEIT Degree College provide a dynamic platform for holistic development beyond academics. With a diverse range of clubs spanning Commerce, BCA, cultural, sports, literary, and study centers, students gain extensive co-scholastic exposure. Literary Club

The Literary Club at our college fosters a passion for literature and creative expression through workshops, readings, debates, writing competitions, paper presentations, seminars, student development programs (SDPs), and guest lectures. These activities provide students with a platform to enhance their writing, reading, and speaking skills while celebrating creativity, diverse voices, and intellectual growth, allowing them to engage in meaningful academic and creative exploration.

Study centre

With the goal of helping students understand and embody the life messages of renowned leaders, the university has established study centers dedicated to Swami Vivekananda, Mahatma Gandhi, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, and Bhagawan Buddha in all its affiliated colleges. Our college, too, houses study centers named after these great figures, where students explore their philosophies, life lessons, and the different facets of their journeys. The quality of student learning is assessed through seminars and essay competitions.

Physical Education and sports

The Department of Physical Education and Sports at VEIT Degree College, established in 2011, is dedicated to discovering and nurturing athletic talent by providing students with excellent facilities, including a gym, sports room, and courts for volleyball, badminton, and table tennis. The department encourages participation in sports competitions at intercollegiate, university, state, and national levels, with students excelling in events such as Kho-Kho, Cricket, Volleyball, Badminton, Kabbadi, Swimming, Chess, and Carrom. Beyond promoting physical activity, the department fosters a strong sense of community and unity, empowering students and making a lasting impact on society.

Technocrats

The Technocrats Club for BCA students is designed to offer practical exposure and foster industry connections, bridging the gap between academic learning and real-world application. Through workshops, seminars, and hands-on projects, the club provides students with valuable insights into the latest trends and technologies in the field of computer applications. By engaging in these activities, members enhance their technical skills, build professional networks, and are better equipped for successful careers in the tech industry.

Commerce Connect

Commerce Connect is a student-led club dedicated to providing practical insights into business, corporate dynamics, and entrepreneurship. The club fosters campus-to-corporate (C2C) connections, student-to-student learning, and personality development through industrial visits, seminars, guest lectures, and other commerce-related activities. These initiatives help students gain valuable skills and industry knowledge, preparing them for success in the business world. By students and for students, Commerce Connect empowers members to thrive in the competitive business and economics sectors.

National Service Scheme (NSS)

The National Service Scheme (NSS) at VEIT Degree College aims to promote social responsibility and community service among students. The NSS provides opportunities for students to engage in various social, environmental, and welfare activities that contribute to the overall development of society. The Media Team is integral to capturing and showcasing the vibrant spirit of campus life through dynamic photography, videography, and engaging content across social media platforms. By documenting everything from spirited events to everyday student interactions, they craft compelling visual narratives that embody the essence of the college community. In addition, the team oversees the college journal and magazine, offering in-depth storytelling that highlights student achievements, memorable experiences, and significant milestones.
