At VEIT Degree College, our Placement Unit is committed to fostering the all-round development of our students and ensuring that they are well-prepared for the professional world. We strive to provide students with opportunities that not only enhance their academic knowledge but also equip them with the skills necessary for a successful career.

As part of our efforts to prepare students for the future, we organize placement drives for both 5th and 6th-semester students. For 5th-semester students, we offer an “Early Bird” opportunity, allowing them to begin their professional journey ahead of time. This gives them a head start in securing internships and future career placements, setting them up for success as they transition into the final year of their studies.

For 6th-semester students, the focus shifts to connecting them with well-established MNCs and companies across industries, offering various positions and diverse roles. This provides students with the chance to secure full-time professional opportunities in companies.

In addition to these placement drives, we recognize the importance of supporting our current students who may need part-time or full-time jobs to support their families or gain work experience. To assist them, we run a dedicated Job Community called “JobWeb.” This WhatsApp group serves as a platform for students to access job opportunities across various industries, ranging from internships to full-time positions. Moreover, the group is inclusive of our alumni, allowing them to benefit from job postings as well, should they require employment opportunities.

Our commitment to student success was highlighted during the placement drive held in December, where we invited both B.Com and BCA 5th-semester students to participate. The event included a pre-placement talk, where students had the opportunity to understand industry needs, followed by rounds of interviews with HR professionals. We are pleased to report that many students successfully secured internships and full-time roles, marking a significant step in their professional development.
